Annual BBQ for Members

Starting this again here since we don’t have the transfer from the old site. This event is MEMBERS ONLY and will take place at Bill’s House on August 3rd. Let’s say no earlier than 4:00 p.m. in Warrenton this year @ 3701 Osborne Dr. Warrenton, VA.

Need to know who is coming, and what you are bringing reference a side dish/dessert.

Plan is to BYOB/Drinks and something to sit on. We will buy the Pork/Meats and smoke/Grill them. We will need a couple volunteers to bring an additional smoker or two. I have a grill and an electric smoker.

  2. Michael G, Katie and Carter: Desserts (Cake or cupcakes, etc)
  3. Julio + Chris: Smoker and Buns/Shine
  4. David + Cori: Plates/Napkins, Brownies and Soda
  5. Paul + Tori: Pasta Salad, balls of meat and Jello Shots
  6. Tony + Chris: Baked beans and rolls
  7. Michael C. + Heather: Bacon wrapped Jalapenos and dessert
  8. TJ + Erika: Corn Hole, Canopy and Lumps of something
  9. John + Kate + kids (doesnt know what he is bringing)
  10. Turkey + Sherry (stuffed mushrooms)

I will be there, possibly with Chris. I will bring 1 smoker, burger and hot dog buns and of course some shine!
Bill’s neighbors are really going to hate him after this! LOL

Just a reminder, please don’t bring pets. Don’t want conflicts with mine. Luna tends to get territorial with other animals. No issue with people or kids, just other animals.

Its early, but we are putting this out for planning purposes.

Where: Bill’s House (3701 Osborne Dr, Warrenton, VA)
When: 8/3 at 4:00-whenever
What: Smoking Pig ass this year and grilling whatever else we want.

As usual, its BYOB/wine/drinks and everyone bring a side or dessert. BGORC funds will cover the meats like we usually do.

Bring some folding chairs for your party and we will work any other logistics out later.

NO DOGS OR OTHER ANIMALS PLEASE, unless you want Luna to eat them.

Sign up please and identify how many are coming with you, remember this is a member only event so, member/prospect and immediate family only and roger up with what side or party enhancer you plan to bring with you:

  3. Julio/Chris +Cuban Mojo, Shine and BBQ Sauce

Other Items needed or actions taken (Need volunteers)

  1. Smokers/grills for meat. I have a small Smoker and a BBQ. Probably need a decent size smoker or two.
  2. Canopies for Shade (2)
  3. Tables for food (2-3) I have 1.
  4. Beer Pong table
  5. Corn Hole (I have one set) need 2
  6. Any other outdoor games

This is a member only event. That said, your member vote will be at this event or I will at least post online the night before. I feel like you are in good shape, from what I hear so, plan on coming if you like.

Yeah, that is prob right and you are our only current prospect. But that may change at the BBQ also, I think we are adding one that I know of.
