Great trail and good times at the campground, Potts mountain rides are where we started the friendships that would eventually lead to the creation of BGORC. For those of you that are not going to Oakridge for Wheeling for Hope this is the sign-up page for Potts Mountain April 26th-27th 2019
Meeting at the Pines Camp Ground on the 26th. Run the trail bright and early on the 27th and then party at camp that evening before heading home on the 28th.
If you’ve never done Potts before the main trail is comparable to Blue – Blue/Black at Rausch Creek with some optional Black to Red obstacles. Recommend 33″ tires for 2 doors and 35″ tires on 4 doors. Skids/rock sliders, 1 locker, and a winch are a plus but we will get you through without.
The campground and trail is somewhat remote. There is limited to zero cell coverage at the campground and better reception only when you reach the top of the mountain on the trail. Good idea to download the area on google maps before you head out. If your rig is of questionable reliability do not bring it out.
